PRESERVING WATER

#Fact

Water is as essential to life as the air we breathe. Yet, more than 800 million people around the world lack access to safe and clean water – with consequences for their health, nutrition, personal hygiene and life expectancy. Climate change, droughts and floods as well as commercial and human overuse are adding up to a global water crisis.

providing fresh water to farmers

We cannot deny that water is needed for what we produce and sell, and for people to use our products. But we believe that there are effective ways to save water – on the farms we source our ingredients from inside our factories, inside our products, and at home, when they are used.

As part of our commitment to using responsibly sourced ingredients, we provide fresh water to smallholder farmers and we ensure that our materials do not leave any harmful traces in water systems.

no microplastics and formulas
with reduced water content

You won’t find any water-polluting microplastics* in our NATURALLY GOOD products. Furthermore, we are working on concentrated formulations with drastically reduced water content, allowing for smaller packaging and more efficient transport – both leading to reduced CO2 emissions.

Bear with us, more on that soon.

what about you?

Want to contribute, too?
Think about using every drop of water as carefully as you can ...

Take 5-minute showers
instead of a bath. A full bath tub requires up to 70 gallons of water. You save up to 1,000 gallons per month.

Minimise your use of hot water:
Heating water uses energy – which means more CO₂ emissions.

Use products with biodegradable formulas:
as they do not leave any harmful traces in water systems.

Teach your kids to save water:
Make kids aware of the need to save water from an early age: you are paving the way for a sustainable future.
