INVISIBLE DEODORANT - NIVEA BLACK & WHITE

Everyone should be able to enjoy the good things in life without having to worry about small problems like white marks on black clothes and yellow stains on white clothes. That’s why we have designed NIVEA Black & White Invisible to protect you and your clothes. Keep reading to find out what causes white marks on black clothes and yellow stains on white clothes, as well as how NIVEA Black & White Invisible works.

WHAT CAUSES WHITE MARKS ON BLACK CLOTHES

The white residues in the underarm left by deodorants are mainly caused by the anti-perspirant active ingredients – the aluminium salts. These are powdery substances that dissolve in water. In water-free formulations, like most aerosols, they are present as a powder, which becomes easily visible on skin and dark clothes. Even when the aluminium salts are dissolved in water, as in most roll-ons, white residues can appear on dark clothes after the water has dried off.

Remember to always shake your deodorant well before using. This ensures the ingredients are well mixed and clothes are less likely to be left with white marks.

WHAT CAUSES YELLOW STAINS ON WHITE CLOTHES

Yellow stains gradually build up from wash to wash. The anti-perspirant active ingredients, plus the skin’s natural oils and sweat in the clothing all interact with the water and detergent. This chemical reaction produces yellow-coloured deposits that remain stuck in the fibres of your clothes. With every wash, the fabric becomes more yellowish and inflexible.

HOW DOES NIVEA BLACK & WHITE INVISIBLE WORK?

To counteract yellow stains, this formula uses breakthrough technology with a specific anti-staining compound. This ingredient protects the textile fibres before the stain components can reach and penetrate them. So the stains remain on the surface and can be washed out more easily.

This formula protects against white marks by using specific anti-white-mark technology. The aluminium salts are dissolved in an emulsion and coated with masking oils that make the white residues invisible.

Always read the label. Follow the directions for use.
