I NOTICED THAT THE NIVEA CREME HAS A SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT LOOK, WHAT HAS CHANGED? WHY?

NIVEA moves with the times and its iconic NIVEA Creme tin is also evolving. We are introducing a more sustainable packaging for the tin, which is now made from 80% recycled aluminum. Further, we have updated our brand logo to a more lively and legible version, which is now also implemented on the NIVEA Creme tin and all the other formats (tube and jars). With a slimmer lettering as well as a brighter blue tone, the modernized NIVEA logo keeps reflecting the Zeitgeist and improves brand stand out. The well-known and beloved NIVEA Creme with its unique formula and scent remains unchanged.

WHERE IS THE ALUMINUM FOR THE TIN SOURCED FROM (BOTH VIRGIN/RECYCLED)?

The packaging partner we work with for the NIVEA Creme tin is certified by the Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Chain-of-Custody Standard, which applies not only to the production of responsible aluminum, but also its sourcing and processing along the value chain. It is important to NIVEA to ensure that our trade partners both match our high-quality standards and requirements for climate care along the entire value chain.
