NIVEA SUN UV Face Shine Control SPF50+ Cream provides immediate and highly effective sun protection. The eye friendly, ophthalmologically proven, formula with a naturally derived antioxidant supports facial skin to protect itself against sun damages whilst offering a long-lasting and instant mattifying effect. The cream absorbs excess oils from your skin’s surface. Your skin will be protected against UVA / UVB induced skin damage and High Energy Visible Light effects such as premature skin aging. Your skin is left feeling light, non-greasy and non-sticky. The skin compatibility of this sunscreen has been dermatologically proven.

Warning:

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Apply generously and evenly to the skin 20 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply regularly as required; every 2 hours or more often when sweating, swimming or towelling. Avoid intensive mid day sun and prolonged exposure to the sun. Keep out of eyes. Do not use on broken, damaged or diseased skin. Wear protective clothing, wide-brimmed hats and sunglasses when exposed to the sun. Allow product to dry before dressing. Avoid contact with fabric and hard surfaces to prevent staining. For external use only. ALWAYS READ THE LABEL AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR USE. SUNSCREENS ARE ONLY ONE PART OF SUN PROTECTION. AVOID PROLONGED HIGH-RISK SUN EXPOSURE. REAPPLY FREQUENTLY.


ACTIVE INGREDIENTS

Homosalate 60mg/g; Butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane 47.5mg/g; Octyl salicylate 47.5mg/g; Ethylhexyl triazone 35mg/g; Bemotrizinol 35mg/g; Pheylbenzimidazole sulfonic acid 20mg/g; Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate 15mg/g. Contains Ethanol 5% w/w; Phenoxyethanol; Methylhydroxybenzoate. Store below 25°C.

New formula pills like crazy.
+1 to the new formula pilling reviews. I've been using this sunscreen exclusively for years - it has been excellent for my sensitive skin and has performed well under makeup. But for the last 9 months or so this product has performed terribly. It pills so much that it's very difficult to make it work with makeup, even minimal makeup. Nivea, if you're reading this, the reason people rated this so highly is because it sat well under makeup. It no longer does that. Please return to the old formula.

Product has changed, now pills badly
This used to be my go to sunscreen, protected me very well, left a natural finish and was great under makeup. The formulation must have changed though as now it pills so badly that I can no longer use it if I intend to wear ANY other cosmetic product on top, even if it’s just a touch of concealer. What a shame

This has changed
I have been using this suncream for 3 years now, it’s been my favourite. However, the last one I purchased 2 weeks ago has definitely failed my expectations. The texture has changed to a fishy smell after applying it and peels off like a face mask Very disappointed
