How does cellulite occur?
Over 80 per cent of women suffer from cellulite. The skin’s fat cells are responsible for the appearance of cellulite, as they move upwards through the connective tissue. Why is so-called orange-peel skin primarily a female problem? A woman’s skin contains a lot more fat cells, the connective tissue is more elastic and the skin softer, meaning that the changes are more clearly visible.
